Tips for Diet Success

Tips for Diet Success. Well, it’s that time of the year, the very end of the year where we roll into a new year. Always happens faster than we think and what do we do? We decide we’re going to make some changes. Sometimes they’re related to business, sometimes they’re related to personal life.

Very often, they’re related to our personal physicality, our weight, our fitness level. We decide at the end of the year that next year is going to be that year when we do achieve our health, our fitness and our weight goals. I’m Debbie Harris, I’m the co-owner of Maynestreet Weight Loss on the Connecticut shoreline and I just want to give you a couple quick tips if you’re doing that right now. First of all, start small. I know you think it’s a great idea to go to the gym seven (7) days a week, not eat anything, but you know, a piece of fruit and some vegetables, It’s not going to work. Start small. The whole idea is to have success and have success every day. So here’s a suggestion.

If you’re not exercising at all, start with two days, maybe go for a 10 minute walk or a 15 minute walk or something like that. If you’re already exercising maybe add on one day. But remember, you want to start small and you want to have success. That’s the key, it will help you to get motivated and keep going. Now when it comes to food, come on, you’re not going to give everything up on the first or the second of the year.

You’re simply not going to, it’s not going to work. So pick something. Maybe take dairy out of your diet for a while, maybe sugar out of your diet for a while. Maybe you decide you’re not going to drink for 20 or 30 days, drink alcohol, that is and whatever you decide to do, remember to up your water intake. So what are we talking about? We’re talking about small, incremental successes.

That’s what’s going to keep you going and that’s what’s going to keep you motivated. So to sum up, you’re not going to do it all at once. Don’t try, don’t psych yourself up like that. Start small and add on each week when you have that success and if you want some help, put a comment here with with this video or reach out to us at Maynestreet Weight We can help you.
