Coffee and Weight Loss

So today we’re gonna talk about something that happens two billion times a day (The Hormone Reset Diet, Sara Gottfried, M.D.) worldwide and it’s definitely something that can affect you if you are trying to lose weight. 

I’m Debbie Harris. I’m the co-owner of Maynestreet Weight Loss . What am I talking about? What happens two billion times a day and you may very well do it too? It’s a cup of coffee worldwide. There are two billion cups of coffee per day. 

Well, think about that for a minute. That’s a lot of coffee. Think about all the tea drinkers. This is just coffee. Now, why am I bringing up coffee today and weight reduction or weight release? Well, it’s very controversial right now. If you remember a few weeks back, we talked about how confusing things are. 

The food is good. The food is bad. Food is healthy, food isn’t healthy. Well, coffee is one of the ones that tends to go back and forth. And well, the experts say now they simply don’t know if coffee helps if you’re trying to release weight, if coffee doesn’t help if you’re trying to release weight. So here’s the thing with coffee. 

One thing you should know about it is it will raise your cortisol. Now, remember we’ve talked about that hormone before that can be an impediment to taking off weight. So, what’s the answer here? Give up your morning coffee? Absolutely not. Uh, you’d be going crazy. You’d be walking around like this. I know I would, but let’s limit our coffee to one or two cups. Now, you know, everybody says cups. We use mugs, don’t we? 

Well, let’s just say one or two mugs. If you’re really trying to release weight, if you’re loading it up with cream and sugar, you already know common sense. that doesn’t, that makes sense. Go get yourself some flavoured liquid Stevia flavoured liquid Stevia. Try that in your coffee without any cream or milk for a little while. 

See how it goes. Use that as your sweetener and you won’t need the milk. So let’s review, coffee is okay. Don’t overdo it. If you’re having sleep issues, definitely don’t overdo it and make sure it’s just in the morning. again.
