3-Minute Daily Meditation

3-Minute Daily Meditation. OK. So here’s what we’re gonna do today. As promised, I want you to sit back in your chair, put your feet on the floor, ground yourself on the floor, shoes on or shoes off. It’s entirely up to you. I want you to close your eyes and just start taking some deep breaths. We’re gonna do three deep breaths, deep breath in and just hold it there for a couple seconds and really let it out and as you let it out, just let out any stress of the day, just let it out. 

Let’s take another deep breath in, let’s let it out. Let’s let any tension out. Any tension at all that you feel, and one more hold it a couple of seconds, let it out, and feel yourself completely relax from the tip of your toes up through your feet, your ankles, your calves, your knees, your thighs right across your groin and your buttocks, your stomach, your chest, your arms, your back and your hands. Just completely relax. Just let yourself go. 

Now, I want you to go to your happy place. Imagine it. Think about it, visualize it. It can be a real place. A place you’ve been. A place you want to go or just make it up. It’s YOUR happy place. Now, go ahead. Go to that happy place. Excellent. Excellent. Just a few seconds. Did you feel it? Did you feel the sensation of your happy place? Maybe you heard some noises. Maybe you saw some colors. It’s wonderful, isn’t it? 

Now, we’re going to count to three. You’re going to count from one to three. One, I want you to become a little bit more aware of the chair you’re sitting in. Two, I want you to just wiggle your fingers and your toes a bit. And when you count to three, I want you to open your eyes. You will not only be completely relaxed, you will be energized. Three.
